URGENT FRAUD ALERT – Craigslist Rental Scams

We’re getting reports of more Craigslist fraudsters recently. Some scammers seek deposit money for non-existent rentals, while others want personal information for identity theft. If you see this or a similar listing on Craigslist, Apartments.com or another real estate rental site, it is likely a scam.

Unit 101 is not 868 sq ft. It’s 1,060 sq ft and would rent for closer to $2,600 or more. Also those are not recent photos of the unit.

This craigslist post is likely a fraud. Please flag it as such.

Do not send any money or personal information. If a rental property listing perpetrator does not have a voice phone number, or if they are out of town, the post is most likely a fraud.

URGENT FRAUD ALERT – Prolific Los Angeles Real Estate Con Artist Drew Donovan Spotted in Twin Cities

Bilking people out of millions, America’s most persistent fraudster victimizes from L.A. to Minneapolis

Be on the lookout! L.A.’s most dangerous fraudster has recently been reported scamming innocents in Minneapolis, St Paul, Brooklyn Park, Fridley and North Minneapolis. He has reportedly been defrauding people around hotels, gas stations, service stations and conveniences stores. It’s not a nickel or dime he’s after, this highly skilled, experienced confidence man takes advantage of emotions and dramatic promises to capture tens of thousands of dollars per victim. Able to lure and convince even the most sophisticated of individuals, Drew Donovan AKA Christian Andrews AKA Jimmy Wayne Jackson has made millions in his career of crime. He has used a combination of sob stories and promises of free cars, free real estate, paid bills and millions of dollars of fake free money from the bank. This combination of tugging heart strings by asking for help, followed by a phony offer of money and material possessions, can make a sucker out of even the most astute and well-intentioned persons. Donovan has been known to target all types of people including: young men, women with children, seniors and disabled. The convicted felon is suspected of drugging, kidnapping and rape. Stopping this kind of con artist can be challenging, and requires a concerted effort.
