REAL ESTATE NEWS – SPECIAL MARKET UPDATE: Downtown Los Angeles explodes onto the stage for 2017.  Higgins loft unit #705, which only received one offer in 60 days at the end of 2016, has received 4 offers in 2 days at the beginning of 2017.  This is a reminder to all that the only slower season in Downtown real estate is October 31 to January 1. As typical, the Downtown market starts going wild on January 2. #facebook

2016 DTLA Real Estate Market Report: In Downtown Los Angeles, fewer homes sold, and they took longer to sell in 2016, but prices increased. The 2nd half of 2016 saw 38 fewer homes sold in Downtown LA compared to the same period of 2015. Average days on the market increased from 59 in 2015 to 69 in 2016. Downtown L.A. home prices increased from $621,852 to $657,214.
