Downtown L.A. real estate is not experiencing a rapid rebound, and is not seeing overall improvement. DTLA property market is suffering from a continuation of panic, hysteria and overreaction in the form of counterproductive lockdown and decimation of small businesses. Home buyers are not buying, only the most motivated of sellers are selling. Renters and landlords both are cancelling appointments. Real estate motivation is declining from coast to coast. Florida commercial real estate guru Ben Mallah says that things are very serious and getting worse, as more renters are unable to make their monthly payments.

California suburban homes have been declining in value recently, even while some home prices continue to rise. What is that all about? Is the optimism over? Yes, pessimism is on the rise, according to CNBC.
