Downtown Los Angeles Real Estate Market Update

Downtown Los Angeles: Yes, we’re open (barely)

REAL ESTATE NEWS | Blog Video

Readers of the L.A. Loft Blog have provided the most powerful mastermind of knowledge, foresight and wisdom about the L.A. property market. When we tune in, really pay attention to what they’re saying, thinking and doing, we can’t go wrong with our own real estate choices.

Even bigger than the news of what’s happening in real estate is the news about what is NOT happening in real estate. Downtown L.A. real estate is not experiencing a rapid rebound, and is not seeing overall improvement. DTLA property market is suffering from a continuation of panic, hysteria and overreaction in the form of counterproductive lockdown and decimation of small businesses. Home buyers are not buying, only the most motivated of sellers are selling. Renters and landlords both are cancelling appointments. Real estate motivation is declining from coast to coast. Florida commercial real estate guru Ben Mallah says that things are very serious and getting worse, as more renters are unable to make their monthly payments.

Here’s what the smartest buyers, sellers, renters, landlords and investors are looking at, contemplating and acting on in urban LA lofts, condos, apartments and Greater Los Angeles houses with character today:

New opportunities demand immediate action, as they’re only available during hard times.

REAL ESTATE NEWS

California suburban homes have been declining in value recently, even while some home prices continue to rise. What is that all about? Is the optimism over? Yes, pessimism is on the rise, according to CNBC.

The rate of change is exploding. To survive and thrive, we must prosper from change, seek out change like a heat-seeking missile. Change is happening twice as fast today. Now is the time of opportunities, while competitors are asleep at the wheel. Barbara Corcoran reminds us that, in a time of fake news and omnipresent scams, authenticity is key.

This is the Greater Depression of the 2020s. The middle class is being decimated, almost without a whimper. In this radical dog-eat-dog environment, it’s time to eat or be eaten. Loft Blog readers are among the most astute and savvy. They’re paying less for rent, less for home purchases, and they’ve got their noses to the grindstone on making themselves more valuable to their employers and to their customers. At the L.A. Loft Blog, we’re implementing new technologies required for growth: social media content, blockchain, Artificial Intelligence and quantum computers.
