In a recent article in Metro Weekly, Downtown Los Angeles reportedly wants to be the new West Hollywood. DTLA is slowly transforming into a desirable LGBT destination.

While Downtown will never be West Hollywood, and certainly does not want to be, it is a bit closer perhaps to being the new Hollywood.
