Downtown Los Angeles and Elysian Valley Lofts and Apartments – Top 10 Questions Answered

Downtown L.A. Loft, Condo and Rental Answers to New Questions

Q: How can I find a san fernando road live work space?  #alta #lofts

A: That’s Alta Lofts in Lincoln Heights, by China Town, Elysian Park and Downtown Los Angeles. There are 104 loft units, with some units for sale, and occasional for lease.  More info at www.AltaLoft.com

Q: How did real estate agent Kerry Marsico die?

A:  He was a popular professional and friend to many, so we are still getting questions about Kerry.  While we have not heard any official cause of death, Kerry was open about his past challenge with substance abuse and recovery.  He’s also had plastic surgery, which usually involves pain medications.  Long-term pain killers often fail to deaden the pain, and end up killing the patient. It seems likely that Mr. Marsico lost his battle with drugs like more than 100,000 Americans pass away from addictions, alcohol, legal and illegal drugs each year. #kerry #marsico

Q:  How big are lofts usually?

A:  While the average loft sold recently has been 1,119 square feet, an average size is usually considered to be closer to around a more modest 850 sq ft.

Q:  How much are Harbor Lofts on the Promenade?

A: Harbor Lofts are in Anaheim, CA.  Take a look at Harbor Lofts and Stadium Lofts at www.LoftAnaheim.com

Q: Where is the harbor lofts leasing office?

A:  Harbor Lofts is a condominium building with lofts for sale.  There is no leasing office.  You may find Harbor Lofts and Stadium Lofts occasionally for lease, along with other cool places around the Harbor and Center Street Promenade at https://www.themls.com/Share/YWFhZGFmamdn

Q: Is there a list of businesses in dtla?

A:  Yes, you can find a list of the most popular Downtown Los Angeles businesses in the Downtown Los Angeles Directory – List of DTLA Businesses and Organizations.

Q:  When will the elysian valley riverfront apartments be done?

A:  The Bend Apartments and the LA Riverfront Creative Campus have units for lease, but they do not cooperate or advertise as much as some other apartments.  Try finding them on Google.  Also, the River House condominiums occasionally have units for lease, although rarely. All three of these places are popular and somewhat hard-to-find.  For extra help, ask to pay for the Rental Search Upgrade 213-880-9910 or visit the 3-Hour Tour page https://www.laloftblog.com/?s=3-hour

Q: Are there any 939 broadway lofts for lease?

A: Currently, these are new homes for sale, not for lease. They’re new loft conversion condominiums that you can buy. Formerly the Western Costume Building, 939 Lofts at 939 S Broadway has also been used for production companies filming in Downtown Arts District because of its prime location next to the United Artists Theatre. Built in 1925, and restored in 2019 by DTLA’s loft conversion pioneer Barry Shy, the building features live/work loft units for sale with designer ceramic tile floors and high ceilings. Some of the units have excellent views, and the building has a rooftop pool and spa with super views. It’s located in one of the fastest improving areas of Downtown Los Angeles walkable to the new Apple Store under construction.

Q:  Where can I find all of the Downtown Los Angeles lofts for rent?

A:  Lofts, condos and apartments for lease can be found at www.LALoftLease.com

Q: Are there any Downtown area live work lofts for sale?

A:  DTLA live/work lofts and other condos available for purchase are at www.LALoftForSale.com

Best known as a top 1% Los Angeles real estate agent, Corey Chambers also receives acclaim as a radio / TV / film producer and internet entrepreneur. He’s long been the driving force behind Village TV and Entar companies, a best-selling book author, public speaker, business consultant, record-breaking online marketer, insightful art broker, banker payment processing specialist, including Bitcoin and advanced cryptocurrency blockchain applications.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐  Clients praise Corey for going “above and beyond,” with great communication skills and homes sales that are faster, for more money with less hassle due to his large database of home buyers and unique home sale guarantee: “Your Home Sold, GUARANTEED, or I’ll Buy It For Cash!”

Today, Corey is launching Entar, the trillion dollar real estate company company of the future, with industry-leading technology to compete directly with Zillow, Trulia, Redfin, Realtor.com, ReMax, Keller Williams etc. #coreychambers

Chambers earned a private M.B.A. degree in Marketing from Canterbury University, along with a B.A. in Advertising from California State University in Fullerton, California. #corey

His start in sales and marketing began quite early in 1970 when he, his brothers and father made too many chocolates, and decided to build a chocolate stand to sell the surplus. In addition to a chocolate addiction, this early experience led to life-long entrepreneurial tendencies.  He later sold many items door-to-door to fund-raise for school, including seeds, greeting cards and, later, wholesale catalog products, earning a radio and inflatable raft. #chambers

After learning to program on the Cyber and RSTS mainframe computers at California State University Long Beach using punched cards in the 1970s, along with the Apple II computers at the Byte Shop, he first gained a technical background in electronics at the same university at age 13. He earned a certificate in COBOL business computer programming at age 14; served the cities of Cypress and Buena Park as a Youth Commissioner.; then successfully led a  profitable Junior Achievement company as Vice President of Finance at age 16. Chambers received a USAF Certificate in Information Systems and Communications Computer Operations, supervised the Misawa Airbase Data Automation Center, responsible for all base computers at age 21. He communicated in Japanese, English, Spanish, French and German. Corey then went on to navigate satellites via telemetry transmissions as a Sergeant Non-Commissioned Officer in the U. S. Air Force Space Command. With a high-level Top Secret SCI security clearance, he protected America’s classified information with 100% reliability, helping the USAF to achieve supreme status as the world’s most trusted organization.

While serving, and after military service, Corey was instrumental in eliminating the U.S. Department of Defense policy of discrimination by teaming with activists Navy Petty Officer Keith Meinholdt and Rev. Dr. Dusty Pruitt to educate and ultimately compel the military to accept qualified LGBT troops.

Corey is known for keeping old friends for many decades, while making big changes readily. Proud of his family, yet recognizing that his last name was too difficult to spell (and re-spell) V-O-L-L-E-N-T-I-N-E again, V-O-L-L-E-N-T-I-N-E, he went through several iterations of a “stage” name, finally landing on Corey Chambers. Easy to spell, the new moniker also scored well with a marketing focus group. A court-documented legal name change became necessary due to changing identity laws after the 9/11 attacks.

After receiving a certificate in video production from LATV as a civilian, he created ground-breaking programming, producing the first commercially successful radio show geared toward LGBT audiences in Greater Los Angeles on KWIZ 96.7 FM. After that, Corey’s Village TV was among the very first to enter the live-streaming internet subscription and pay-per-view entertainment online video arena.

Producer / Art Broker / Businessman

Chambers has been an independent film producer, writer, actor and director of numerous webcast TV shows, also associate producer of hundreds of TV shows, feature films, music videos, educational films, and experimental films in association with Narcissus International and Intriguism Moving Pictures. He’s been a generous financial backer of numerous Brother Andy films and fine art projects. Chambers is gearing up to launch new webcast series about Los Angeles real estate. His team has attracted millions of views on YouTube and other social media channels.

Corey credits his success to his loving parents, who provided a powerful upbringing with a bountiful combination of involvement, authority and permissiveness, in a racially diverse family and varied economic conditions of both rags and riches.  He has expressed his gratitude for his outstanding teachers, coaches, mentors, community programs and leaders who have provided tremendous education, training and support.   |   BIO
