Most buildings in Downtown now accept a variety of pets.  Many new buildings and new parks have been added to Downtown over the past 10 years, and dogs have begun to take over.  In fact, with the new Americans with Disabilities Act, just about any dog can be labeled a service dog, and therefore even pet-unfriendly buildings are now often forced to accept dogs as legitimate residents.
