The best properties in Downtown often sell before they are listed. These unlisted, off-market and pocket listings can help buyers get an edge by seeing properties that are sometimes a better deal, and by seeing the #lofts for sale before other buyers.

beacon-lofts-little-tokyo-downtownThe epicenter of creative chic, Downtown’s Arts District is now one of the hottest real estate markets in the world.  The average Arts District loft is north of $800,000.  Prospective Los Angeles home buyers who want to be in this bastion of creativity are finding it hard to get anything that represents the cool urban vibe and authenticity of the neighborhood.

The L.A. They come with 2-car tandem spaces and are a quick walk to the most exciting areas of the #ArtsDistrict and DTLA.

Totally amazing genuine industrial live-work open spaces with huge walk-in closet, views, nice kitchens with stainless steel appliances,, exposed plumbing, polished concrete floors and concrete pillars. Fido Lofts

dog-lofts-4Real Estate News (Downtown Los Angeles)  — Now that 46% of Downtown residents currently own a dog or plan to purchase a pooch within the next 2 years, specialty real estate developer Dorr of Los Angeles has announced plans to build a loft specifically to cater to the needs of our special canine friends.  Construction of the new lofts begins in May 2016.  The new Downtown luxury dog lofts start in the low $800,000s and will range all the way up to $6.7 million, and each Fido loft will feature doggy built-ins and, in addition to a traditional dog walk, the new building will also boast a tropical resort style swimming pool and rooftop deck for dogs and their loving companions.

Real estate agent Cookie Chatham has announced that she is now specializing in real estate for canines. The Downtown specialist real estate team announced today that they will become the first brokerage in the state to represent dogs in the purchase and sale of lofts and dog houses. “In California, it is illegal to discriminate, so we will ensure that every dog is represented equally, be it a pitbull, great dane, chihuahua or shitsu,” says Cookie. Dogs worldwide are looking forward to moving to Downtown Los Angeles because it is the most dog-friendly urban community.  After he was rescued from Lacy Street Animal Shelter, chihuahua-mix Zenith Puppy Pacquiao is looking forward to moving to new doggy digs. “Living with my human folks at Alta lofts has been nice, but I’m three years old now and I need my own place where I can be a dog,” says Zenith. At 13 lbs, he is sure to find Fido lofts to be an easy fit.

Moving can be hard on everyone involved: adults, kids, and yes… even your pets! While your pet may not understand exactly what is going on, they can sense the stress (good or bad), that the whole family is experiencing. Add to that the fact that animals are creatures of habit and do not like changes to their usual routine, and you can understand why they become so confused.
